Tamiya Diff Shields

Yesterday I installed some diff shields on the front ball-diff for the IFS. They were a bit thinner than I thought they would be, but I suppose they're as thick as they need to be.

Soarer Coming Along

I've had the body trimmed for some time now, and I was finally able to mount it yesterday having completed the kit. I originally wanted to paint it black, but now I'm considering red...

Tech Racing Torque Rod Set

I installed one more hop-up for the IFS today. It's a set of front and rear chassis torque rods from Tech Racing. Because this chassis is set up for drifting, I only used the rear torque rods. There is still a tiny bit of flex that comes from the center of the chassis, but the rear is now significantly stiffer than before.

TA05-IFS Build - Part 3

A ball-diff will go up front, and a Tamiya spool in the rear:

More Time Attacks

I think this set came out a little better than my first. If everything goes according to plan, they'll end up with the Soarer.

Offroad Drifting

Normally, offroad action isn't my thing, but today we took Saul's new Hornet to an old baseball diamond to kick up some dirt. Now I'm thinking about getting one...

Tamiya DC5 Integra

I made this body for my good friend, Saul. It's a 90% accurate replica of his 1:1 car. I still have to add a muffler and possibly side mirrors, but here it is so far:
